We were honored to welcome Mrs. Blerta Aliko, the UNDP Lebanon Resident Representative, who met with Dr. Tamara Elzein, the Secretary General of CNRS Lebanon. During her visit, Dr. Elzein highlighted the longstanding cooperation between both institutes, both directly and through the Disaster Risk Management Unit (DRM Lebanon).

The CNRS team presented their ongoing activities related to natural hazards and early warning, as well as their daily monitoring of hostile activities by Israel in southern Lebanon.
