A Representative from NCNE Participates in Regional Workshop on Digital Water Management in İzmir

Within the scope of the Blue Peace in the Middle East initiative, a workshop and technical trip program themed “Digital Tools and Solutions in Agricultural Water Management” was held in İzmir on 23–25 September and organized by the SUEN Turkish Water Institute with the support of the Swiss Agency for Development and Cooperation (SDC). The program brought together experts from Iraq, Lebanon, Syria, Turkey, and Jordan to discuss innovative digital solutions, including remote sensing, AI-supported irrigation, sensors, and drones. A representative from the National Center for Natural Hazards & Early Warning (NCNE) took part in the event, contributing to the exchange of expertise and reinforcing our commitment to advancing sustainable water management in Lebanon and the region.

Participants also had the opportunity to observe smart irrigation applications first-hand during field visits in İzmir and Manisa.
