The CNRS-L welcomed Mrs. Verena Kausche, Technical Manager Anticipation Projects at GRC, and Mr. Kiswendsida Guigma, Technical Advisor at Red Cross Red Crescent Climate Centre, along with the German Red Cross team Deutsches Rotes Kreuz and the Lebanese Red Cross for an official visit to the Council on the 5th of September 2025.

A fruitful discussion took place with Dr. Chadi Abdallah, Secretary General of CNRS, on the ongoing projects, current activities, and prospects for future collaboration.

Following the meeting, a visit was conducted to the National Center for Natural Hazards & Early Warning – NCNE to review the newly released reports, project findings, current assessments, and interactive dashboards.
