An exchange visit was held by the International Monetary Fund (IMF), led by its representative in Lebanon, Mr. Frederico Lima, and the Institut des Finances Basil Fuleihan (IoF) to the National Council for Scientific Research headquarters (CNRS Lebanon). Highlight of the Visit:
-Redirecting spending towards investments in #science and #humancapital
-Gaining insight into the Council’s work and its National Centre for Natural Hazards & Early Warning, particularly in the collection and analysis of data related to various #naturalhazards

عُقدت زيارة تبادلية من قبل صندوق النقد الدولي برئاسة ممثله في لبنان، السيد فريدريكو ليما، ومعهد باسل فليحان المالي والاقتصادي في مقرّ المجلس الوطني للبحوث العلمية أهم ما جرى مناقشته:
إعادة توجيه الإنفاق نحو الاستثمارات في العلوم ورأس المال البشري-
الاطلاع على أعمال المجلس والمركز التابع له “المركز الوطني للمخاطر الطبيعية والإنذار المبكر”، لا سيما في جمع وتحليل البيانات المتعلقة بمختلف المخاطر التي تواجه البلاد-
