Meeting with the SRSG and Head of UNDRR, Mami Mizutori
During the Arab-Africa Science, Technology, Policy & Private Sector Nexus for Disaster Risk Reduction conference members of the Arab Scientific and Technical Advisory Group for Disaster Risk Reduction (Arab STAG) had a productive meeting with the SRSG and Head of UNDRR, Mami Mizutori.
During the meeting, they discussed the remarkable progress made in Arab STAG’s voluntary commitment and the future steps towards implementing the Sendai 2030 Framework for Action.
Since its establishment in 2017, Arab STAG has been dedicated to enhancing the role of science and technology in disaster risk reduction across Arab countries. They provide valuable scientific information and advice, while also fostering strategic partnerships to boost resilience and strengthen DRR programs.
